A year-long program, delivered over 8 modules, through a hybrid of virtual and in-person sessions, self-study, group and supervision, we support you in an immersive learning experience.
Designed to build on your substantial knowledge and experience and deepen your experience of creating, developing and leading teams by supporting you in applying your learning to a ‘live’ client assignment. It offers the expertise of highly experienced coaching faculty and support of an experienced, international learning community.
It provides the theory, tools, information, support and learning experiences to help you build and develop your skills as a systemic team coach.
You must have completed the Systemic Team Coaching® Certificate (Practitioner) and attended all four Group Supervision/Action Learning sessions, before you can start the Systemic Team Coaching® Diploma program.

Preferred participant experience
This program is suitable to those who have experience in facilitation, coaching and developing teams or who have worked in organizational development. You will need to have completed the Systemic Team Coaching® Certificate Practitioner before attending the Diploma Senior Practitioner program.
For those wanting to develop and expand their team coach competence and become among the most highly qualified team coaches in the field today.
Suitable for:

Experienced individual coaches with at least three years’ practice, having completed either training equivalent to ACC (ICF) or Practitioner Level (EMCC)

External or internal consultant or HR Business partner with five years+ career in organisational development and extensive coaching experience. You will be expected to be able to present your theoretical framework for coaching teams.

An experienced senior team leader with coaching skills
In all cases you will need to secure a client team, or be a leader of your own team, in order to complete a case study – which will be an important opportunity to experiment and practise your developing systemic team coaching skills.
This Master level program has been developed for experienced executive coaches and consultants who wish to strengthen and deepen their team coaching practice.
Working with a client team, you will be supported to become one of the most highly skilled team coaches in the industry today. You will receive regular supervision and over the course of the 7 modules.
Our faculty have combined their experience of organizational consulting, executive coaching, group dynamics, organizational psychology and other related disciplines, as well as many years the senior levels of business, to provide an exciting, experiential program.

Practitioner teams of four‑eight, working together on their client teams and providing supervision to each other. This will be facilitated by a member of the faculty in support of the practitioner team’s learning

The Systemic Team Coaching® Certificate Practitioner has a preparation webinar to initiate the learning community followed by three days of intense experiential learning. The program combines theory, case examples and practical exercises to ensure understanding and application of the Systemic Team Coaching® process.

Using a carefully designed business simulation, you will experience and practise coaching skills and techniques first-hand, giving and receiving feedback with fellow participants to consolidate your learning.

Expert faculty in a ratio of 1:9 will provide personal and direct feedback as you test your 'team coaching wings' in this safe practice environment.
How you will learn
Team Connect (TC360) Diagnostic Instrument
AoEC in partnership with Professor Peter Hawkins has taken his 20 years of extensive research and development in high-value teams and created an online team diagnostic instrument Team Connect 360 (TC360) based on his 5 Disciplines model.
On the program, you will experience the instrument and learn how it can be used. On successfully completing the program you will become a licensed user and so have the option of using the instrument with your professional clients.
This program holds the EMCC (European and Coaching Council) Team Coaching Quality Award, at Senior Practitioner Level, enabling you to be one of the most certified in the field.
EMCC Global (European Mentoring and Coaching Council)
The AoEC holds the Global Team Coaching Quality Award (Senior Practitioner level) conferred by the EMCC for the Systemic Team Coaching® Diploma.
Graduates of the Systemic Team Coaching® Diploma have completed the training requirements for EMCC Global Individual Team Coaching Accreditation at Senior Practitioner level.
ICF (International Coaching Federation)
Until 2023, the Systemic Team Coaching® Diploma was accredited for 121 ACSTH (Approved Coach Specific Training Hours). The ICF no longer offers this accreditation, but the hours can be used towards an ICF credential via the portfolio route and the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching.
