Why become a Certified Practitioner in Systemic Team Coaching®

The world is changing at an alarming rate and organizations need teams that can adapt and keep pace. There is enormous demand for Team Coaches who can steer them through these ongoing transitions.

 

Most organizations need you to come in, and use a structured and planned approach, work with their teams to set a vision, improve team dynamics and set people on a path for growth and enhanced performance.

You’re expected to bring best practices and research from team and organizational development. You will need to go beyond simply helping their team relate better internally, and coach them to co-create great value with and for all their stakeholders.

Preferred participant experience

This is suitable to those who have experience in facilitation, coaching and developing teams or who have worked in organisational development. People on previous courses have included:

  • Human resource, training and talent development professionals

  • Organizational consultant’s Chief executive officers, business owners and employers

  • In-house and independent executive coaching professionals

Become a Certified Practitioner so you can:

  • Learn to contract with a team and its stakeholders, addressing issues such as confidentiality. Help your team shape their development journey.
     

  • Analyze and formulate strategies to address the implications of team coaching on coaching contracts, with  focus on confidentiality aspects when the team is the client.
     

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Hawkins' 5 Disciplines Model of team of team coaching, by coaching to each discipline.
     

  • ​Get certified to use Team Connect 360 diagnostic to gather team and stakeholder feedback in an efficient and illumination way.

  • Apply the High Value Creating Team Questionnaire in a simulated team coaching scenario, to critically evaluate their effectiveness in gathering relevant data.
     

  • Use 'Self as Instrument' by actively employing physical senses, rational thought, intuition, and reflect on the effectiveness of these tools in a self-assessment report.
     

  • Transition from working with team leaders to working with a client team at all levels of an organization.
     

  • Create a comprehensive Systemic Team Coaching® contract for a client team, demonstrating and understanding of essential components and considerations.

In this program you will learn how to:

Lead a Team Systemically
Discover how to think, act and be systemic. Learn how to actively practice these skills to discover what you need to develop in yourself as a Team Coach.
Understand the fundamental differences between coaching a team, team facilitation, group coaching, and systemic team coaching.


Incorporate the Five Disciplines Model
Understand the difference in working systemically and how to not only develop systemic thinking but also systemic doing and being.  Shift how you turn up to listen to, see, sense and intervene more systemically and effectively in the teams you lead.
 

Master Team Literacy
Identify the differences between a real team and a pseudo team.  Learn the key ingredients required for a real team and the important differences between teams and teaming, and why each is important for an organisations success
 

Create Effective Learning Teams
Stop focusing on becoming better and better at playing yesterday’s game, and instead, develop the capacity to be future-fit and play tomorrow’s game.  Ride the wave of agile change by developing learning teams that create more value using a future-back and outside-in learning approach.

MODULE 1 The Fundamentals of Systemic Team Coaching

MODULE 2 Co-Inquiry
